DRYERS. The PSK range of heatless adsorption air dryers from Jemaco SPX provides compressed air with dew points from -40 to -70⁰C P.D.P. If larger capacity dryers are required the HRE series of heat regenerative dryers with low purge flow requirements and dew point control is available. These options minimise the wastage of expensive compressed air.

DRYER CONTROL SYSTEMS. Heatless chemical type air dryers waste up to 15% of the incoming air flow to de-sorb and regenerate the offline line tower. The majority of these dryers have no indication of air dryer performance. Timer controlled dryers often waste more air than necessary as the dryer is rotated without reference to seasonal incoming water load and fluctuating low air demands by the plant or hosptal. The locally developed “DPC1 air dryer controller” solves these issues.
DRYER MONITORING. Dew point performance monitoring has become cost effective is recent years. Our equipment has a wide range of capabilities, from simple instruments to monitor dew point, flow, and pressure, to more comprehensive display monitors that have internet connectivity and SMS alert features. This DS 500 systems is capable of monitoring multiple compressors and dryers, providing users with pre alerts in the case of a malfunction. Allowing staff to take corrective action before the air contamination hits a production line or the wards in a hospital.
AIR AUDITING For clients with tighter budgets Artic offers on site compressed air quality data logging & monitoring of systems at affordable rates Artic has one of the largest range of hardware and data logging equipment to monitor air systems in South Africa. Monitoring periods are determined by the client and concise reports are issued with graphs and a synopsis of the systems status. Oil carry over performance testing can also be included, as is leak detection for c/air vacuum and medical gases.
INLINE FILTRATION Artic has a 14 year association with BEA Technology From Pero Italy and provides a wide range of filters from simple particle, to high end in situ sterilize-able stainless casings suitable for any demanding application. Vacuum filters are also included within the BEA range. Differential gauges with volt free contact switches are available with any of the above allowing easy maintenance supervision. If required, differential pressure transmitters can be installed that will continually provide a 4 to 20mA signal to an instrument data logger system or clients control system. If required high performance carbon towers or even catalytic convertors can be installed to eliminate the last dregs of any oil contamination. Once an air system is contaminated with oils it’s almost impossible to clean, so prevention is always better than cure.
DRYER HIRE. Low dew point dryers are also available with compressor, filters, dew point monitors and oily water waste management systems. These systems make an upgrade of a compressor room easier by providing a continuous stream of clean dry air while the re-fit takes place.
SEPURA OIL WATER SEPARTORS. Local regulations require that no compressor oils are released into storm water drains. Failure to abide by these regulations can lead to fines being imposed. The Sepura Oily Waste Water Separation Systems allow for easy separations of the oils generated by compressors. They retain the oils for safe legal disposal and allow the clean water out to the drains. These systems are easy to use and are very cost effective.
J.D.M. ZERO LOSS CONDENSATE DRAINS. These drains are the zero loss capacitance type and eliminate compressed air wastage and only eject waste water. No compressed air is allowed to atmosphere. Available in all sizes to suit any size application.
